Daily women’s clothing, a division of Penske Media Corp. is seeking a Visual Media Editor to work with our team in the New York office. In this fast-paced creative environment, the visual media editor produce unique and compelling photographs and visuals for the WWD editorial team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will report to the Director of Visual Media and will work on a mix of digital and print products – the weekly newsletter WWD Digital Daily and Beauty Inc. (digital products) as well as Beauty Inc. Bimonthly (print magazines).

  • Conceptualize, research and process digital photographs and illustrations.
  • Archive the photographs ordered in our DAM system
  • Build galleries and help with photo uploads and processing for wwd.com
  • Manage your time wisely and keep the team up to date while juggling multiple projects at once.
  • Small-scale shoot production and photo orders

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • More than 3 years of experience in an internal photo team
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC
  • Compassion, understanding and insight when creating visuals.
  • Experience working on high volume fast moving products is a must.
  • Flexibility in the schedule is a must, this position will have alternating schedules with another editor.
  • Experience working with WordPress an asset
  • Attention to detail, quick to learn, ability to take direction and feedback with a positive attitude, and eager to work as a team
  • This position has the potential to create a creative experience for the right candidate if desired, including illustration, collage, photography, video and more
