A six-person “Best of Show” exhibit will be on display at the Jacques Art Center in Aitkin through July 2. Each artist exhibits between 10 and 12 works of art.

Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Free entry.

Ripple River Gallery

Genevieve Loso’s pottery will be on display at the Ripple River Gallery near Bay Lake until July 10.

Loso’s work ranges from organic ash glaze surfaces to tight structured architectural lines.

The Ripple River Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The gallery is located 5 miles south of Deerwood on Hwy 6, then 3 miles east of Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge on Crow Wing County Hwy 14 to Partridge Avenue.

An exhibit of artwork by Lucy Nesheim is on view at the Brainerd Public Library, 416 S. Fifth St., through June.

The exhibition includes 14 works of art in oil on canvas. The predominant theme of the rooms is nature, with an emphasis on water.

The Cross Arts Alliance

Crossing Arts’ annual exhibition “Salut aux arts” will run until July 2 in the Crossing Arts Gallery.

Featuring new works by local artists that have been created over the past year, the works on display will include photography, mixed media, paintings, textile/fabric and more.

The public is invited to attend the casual vernissage of this exhibition with a light refreshment from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.

Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library

“Nature Perspectives: The Landscape Photography of Donald Phillips” will be on display at the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library in Crosby until August 31.

The exhibit highlights 20 black and white photographs of Phillips, a former resident of Emily, the Little Pine Route Farm, the St. Croix Scenic Waterway, and Fort Snelling’s Pike Island.

Library hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

The front gallery of Great River Arts will present “The Elegance of the Universe; A Thing of Beauty” by Stephanie Mirocha, until June 29.

The main gallery will feature Kari Weber’s “A Change of Seasons” exhibition, which also runs through June 29.
