RUMBLE at BLINK Festival 2019

For four nights in October, the streets and structures of Greater Cincinnati will be sparkling with illuminations, immersive activations and now a drone show.

From October 13-16, BLINK will convert 30 city blocks in downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine and Covington into a range of visual, auditory and kinesthetic encounters literally and figuratively.

BLINK officials recently announced the addition of a ten-minute drone show by Covington-based Durham Studio, set to take place every night of the festival at Smale Riverfront Park.

300 drones will soar through the sky “working in harmony to display 3D images, animations and lighting,” according to a statement from BLINK.

“The BLINK Drone Show will connect the shores of Cincinnati and Covington with a range of entertainment using drone technology provided by Sky Elements Drone Shows,” BLINK Executive Director Justin Brookhart said in a statement. “The drone show will showcase the magnificent suspension bridge as the backdrop for the nighttime shows.”

The drone show will take place twice a night during the BLINK festival and fans can enjoy the best viewing experience at Smale Park in Cincinnati and across the river at the Covington Plaza Amphitheater.

BLINK 2022 is taking place throughout Downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine and Covington from October 13-16. For more information, visit
